to:	all local (mit) readers of "e-club" and "6901-conference";
re:	wsj's pull-out section on telecommunications, of
	last friday, 11 feb, pp. r1-r28;

for my upcoming courses on _new technology start-ups_ and
_technology risks_ (the versions i offer high school kids
at mit during spring-term on ten-consecutive-saturdays
beginning the first week of march) i've used the _classroom
edition of the wsj_, and other of their special publications 
and videos, and i'd like to include this year the section from
last friday's edition on _telecommunications_.

if you've not yet re-cycled your copy, or won't otherwise
file away the telecomm section, please consider dropping it
into a large interdepartmental envelope and kindly sending 
it my way:  richard shyduroff, e15-443, or if you're at the ml
already, leaving it in my physical mail folder at the vlw.

btw:  if you're interested in volunteering to co-teach some
part of these courses on one or more saturdays this term,
let me know and we'll discuss it.  morning sessions are
chalk-and-talk, 10am-noon, and the afternoon sessions run
from 1pm-5pm in 14-0637, an athena electronic classroom,
where we research details using the internet.  class size
is limited to 15 plus the t.a. and myself.  this is a good
opportunity to practice for you're own course offerings
in the mit educational studies program's "high school studies
program" (we're always in new-teacher-recruitment-mode).
